What do we like to do?? Golfing The #1 sporting event for Gary and Shane.  I golf, too, but just during fair weather.  It doesn't matter what the weather is like for Gary, Shane, and Jerry.  They have propane heaters set up in their golf carts!  And if the weathers really bad, I understand that a poker game breaks out. Travel - We like to travel.  We've been to Hawaii several times during Spring Breaks.  2002 we went to Disneyland.  We had a great time.  At least when we weren't driving on those freeways down there.  Then things got a bit tense. The kids tried out all of the rides at Disney's California Adventures, including the roller coaster "California Screamin".  I wanted to scream just watching the "take off".  .  See photos!  Work and School 2006 - Shane graduated from Pendleton High School.     Shane is attending Oregon State University with a Forestry degree in mind. He's been fighting fire during the summer and he loves that! Katie and Nicole are Sophomores in high school, on the cross country team, which got third in State 2008, thank you very much! They may be Lola height (5 nothing) but are they fast! They also enjoy riding their horses and training our dog, Duke (yellow lab). Gary is a Contracting Officer for the Forest Service and is a member of a Type I Incident Management Team. He's worked on disasters (besides fires) such as the space shuttle recovery and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.   Skiing - We became serious skiers Winter of 2002/2003.  Katie and Nicole became proficient after their third trip to Anthony Lakes and now will go down diamond runs and are perfecting their backward skiing trick.  Shane and Gary go bombing off as many runs as they can fit in a day. I am the leisure skier who takes my time, enjoys the scenery, and doesn't ever fall down, unless one of the girls trip me up (Nicole!). We have taken ski trips to Kellogg, Idaho and Park City, Utah and Sunriver, OR.
